Biography
Derek has had 27 lessons since beginning in 2025 and has been learning guitar.
A review:
I started taking guitar lessons in the fall of 2025. I had a guitar for years, but never played it. My first visit I told Jason I just want to learn how to play some country songs. Jason told me to make a list of songs and we would start there. It has been about 8 months of learning some basic cords and about 20 songs, and it has been great. Jason is very patient with me and my limited knowledge of the guitar and music. It has been a blast with him learning to play the guitar in my 50's. I only have a couple more lessons, then I am going to take the summer months off and get back into it with him this fall with a new list of songs.
